over 2 years on carnivore diet and various fasting lengths

I'm content with this look, maybe one day I'll touch weights again. 205lbs in this pic, around 15%BF according to one of those bodyfat scales. 40's resting heart rate due to the bike riding. XL shirts are a little too tight, mostly wear 2XL.

4 weeks of weights I could probably recomp super fast and add 10lbs muscle. I think all the GH made some permanent changes.

Side note, my face now looks 10 years younger than it ever did when bodybuilding. Asking ai how old does this person look it'll say mid 20's

.15ml test 200 EOD (around 105mg test/week)

Before , powered bysugar :ROFLMAO: 105 resting heart rate

Also I tore both of my biceps (distal bicep tendon) mountain biking, almost exactly a year part. Right one first, left one a year later. Just unfortunate crashes.

I had one surgically repaired and the second one I left torn. I can offer some insight into pros and cons of getting it repaired or leaving torn. No significant difference in function, unrepaired arm is 25% weaker is some movements but that is about all. repaired arm took over a year to get to 90% and 2 years to be 100%. Left 2nd bicep torn based on recovery and risk experience of the first repair.

Also tore my ACL mountain biking and grade 2 strain in just about every other knee part :ROFLMAO: . Also left unrepaired, took about a year for knee to all tighten up, now it is better than ever

Who eats poptarts commonly in their BB diet. You hang with a different crowd than me. Have you been known to eat that crappy food that you mentioned. Getting big and fat was never really my goal. Never was a fan of processed food. I have ate low fat animal protein veggies whole grains, rice, potatoes EVOO fruit etc since the 1980's. Never had any bad blood work or health conditions in my 66 years. Discipline is a good thing. I have stepped on BB stages eating like that, so i probably looked pretty decent. As GNC approached me for sponsorship more then once. And i was still natural. How many times have you stepped on a stage eating your carnivore diet?
I think he is referring to actual open bodybuilding at a high level, where you basically have to consume simple carbohydrates to get in the 4 digit numbers of carbs required in many an off-season. Certainly none of the open guys are eating whole grain carb sources.

Just guessing here, but possibly the difference in crowd you mentioned is the crowd of serious open bodybuilders at 260+ off season vs the crowd of natural guys such as yourself

People that eat healthy and eat a lot of plants are not taking in much if any sugar. I know i don't.
It is easy to find things that can disprove anything. Do you have a large amount of studies that the majority back that up? And show better longevity?
Any one person experience is worthless including my own as it may not repeat to others.
Do you have any 5-10+ year studies with a large group like 1000+ with blood work for people that have been on a strict carnivore diet to back up what those people that support it claim?
I’m not a carnivore fan, but almost literally all plants contain sugars, so I’m not quite sure how you eat a lot of plants and not taking in “much if any sugar” as you said.

Good for you for feeling comfortable in your own skin

I can’t possibly know what’s going on inside your head so I don’t know why exactly you started this thread.

If it was to tell people that you feel great and “xyz” worked for you then ok that is what it is. It’s nice that you’re happy with your way of life.

If it was to convince people to get on the carnivore diet, that’s a losing battle. If anything you’re cementing people in whatever diet they have already.

Nobody wants to talk about anything with anyone who has an answer for everything. It’s one of the most unlikeable human traits.

You are entitled to your opinion. With his posts about yoyo dieting and poor diet in all his years trying to get big And as he was using the noun "you" in the post i was replying to that would seem to be more geared towards the typical BB not the elite. So i replied accordingly.

I was using the word "sugar" as it is traditionally used in the dictionary, typically Websters, so people will know what i am talking about. And not the way some one may choose to define words themselves. As that makes communicating harder, especially on platforms such as this. I like to use the common tongue, not some specialized language.
" a sweet crystallizable material that consists wholly or essentially of sucrose, is colorless"

maybe this definition is more fitting:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sugar

Sugar (/ʃʊɡər/) is a class of sweet-tasting, soluble carbohydrates, many of which are used in food. Simple sugars, also called monosaccharides, include glucose, fructose, and galactose. Compound sugars, also called disaccharides or double sugars, are molecules made of two bonded monosaccharides; common examples are sucrose (glucose + fructose), lactose (glucose + galactose), and maltose (two molecules of glucose). White sugar is almost pure sucrose. During digestion, compound sugars are hydrolysed into simple sugars.

Maybe the plan is to get people to eat more sugar? reverse phycology . Sponsored by Kellogg's

Feel free to use that.
I find over the decades people have gone to things like Websters dictionary more them Wikipedia
As i wrote i tend to use words the way most people use them.
I find when i talk to people un the world and they say sugar they are talking about table sugar and that sweet stuff in desserts.
When i am talking about sugars, starches etc i use the word carbohydrate. Which encompasses all those things and is in line with the way most people talk. That way they know what i am talking about. I just stick to traditional common meanings to words. When i am using something with more specialized definitions i state it as such or use the traditional word that best defines what i am talking about.

Define it whatever way makes you feel like you eat less sugar. I guess if you are not eating spoons of white table sugar you are right, you are not eating sugar

Thanks. Probably no sugar tonight. Although The 4 lb bag of sugar i bought abought 15+ years ago still has about 3 pounds left in it. So it is an option if i get a craving.
Have some some mayocoba beans and veggies simmering at the moment to have with my chicken breast encrusted with suya spice.

This thread is nonsense

Anyone looking can tell he’s not serious by the way he addresses all serious points of debate with silly bullshit responses.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s not even on carnivore.

Just a cry for attention

I think some of us are just poking fun - well, I know I am.
But you are quite correct - engaging with a reflexive contrarian is like playing ping-pong with a wall.

Serious about what? I'm here for entertainment mostly. no one is changing anyone's minds here.
