Oxygen gym

I used to work out at O2 in 2013. Amazing gym. 2 locations.

The location I went to didn't allow females, which in the end was pretty cool. The staff would spot, unload your weights, and wipe down the benches. Crazy.

This post has the ring of truth.

:p;)

Well, if it's truly the case and Bader is such a philanthropist, then I can only applaud, cause it actually deserves an immense respect. :)

Now to make it clear, if it wasn't so crystal clear as what you describe, LATS, well I wouldn't have a problem with it either... you do what you feel is right for you to attain your goals in this life... up to everyone to decide where to set his personal limits, muscle worship and escorting are absolutely fine with me. :)

No, what I'd hate is to let people think some rich dudes in the middle east help or "sponsor" athletes and make them come over there just for the love of the sport, when actually the motives are far less avowable... basically fool young promising newcomers into thinking they'll move FOR FREE from the US or Europe to find a bodybuilder's paradise in the desert, when in fact there's a bit more behind it... unfortunately some naive kids might not even realize it before booking (having it paid, I mean ) their plane ticket, and it's only once upon arrival they discover what they really have to do to take advantage of an emir's generosity.

BTW I'm not talking precisely of Oxygen Gym here, but in a more general way of what's happening in Qatar, Dubai, Bahrain, etc...

To my knowlegde, there was only one Mother Teresa... people rarely do things expecting absolutely nothing in return. It happens, yes, but not so often... :(;)

I'm to private of a person to Enjoy that I think.
It sounds Like Millitary school but Muscle camp. I can see how it would work!
Makes sure there getting shit done and hold them accountable.

But I can do my own shots, Unload my own weights. My headphones are my partner and motivation. I don't want someone standing over me or wiping down behind me. Bird dogging me. :naughty:
I do wish I had no Job or responsibility, Unlimited money for food and supps, and most important a 5 star chef. I would take all that :)

Nathan de Asha is at Oxygen and he's coming on leaps and bounds. No secret drug, just living and breathing the bbing lifestyle

This gym sounds incredible and the photos/videos I've seen of it look fantastic as well. Huge gym with every piece of equipment imaginable from various different manufacturers.

I would be interested to see the financials of the gym. Start up costs, etc. Although I'm sure labor costs are substantially lower there, it seems like the place is packed with trainers, cleaners, etc. Is it all a huge loss financially per year?

What do they charge members monthly?

I can't remember what I paid, but it was like $75-90 a month. Certainly more than the states. There were $200K cars lined up outside all the time. Money from locals is not a issue.

I saw Mountaindog tag himself at lifetime fitness before

Anyone been to their gyms? like a damn resort

there is one in arlington texas about 15 min from metroflex where ronnie trains and branch. They had indoor rock climbing, basketball court, tennis, 3 spas, 2 olympic pools, 2 saunas, 2 steams, marble counters dude it was unreal

I think most guys walk past all that looking for the free weights and high dollar gym pieces

There's one far south of me. It's insane. Looks like a giant warehouse. Like you said pools, saunas, the whole nine yards. It's 3 floors total I believe.

Haha, yea I went from a $10 a month fly by gym to LA fitness and it's a world of difference.

I would love a gym like Oxygen here. It really makes a massive difference having all the different equipment available especially when you are like me and have lower back issues so going for max weight squats, deadlifts and barbell rows is no longer possible. My gym now has a hammer strength standing leg curl machine and it has made a huge difference being able to abuse myself on that. Some of the big gyms I see in vids have at least 10 machines for every bodypart.

My gym now has everything I need but I will be swopping over in the New Year. Do you guys have Harmony in the US? It's a good chain here and I was a member of another Harmony here for 3 months a while back. The one I am joining is full of new cybex machines so that's a positive. The mixed sauna/steamroom is another bonus... much better than the current 5 naked men saunas :D Although I will probably put the women off as I am in my no shaving bulking mode so my back hair is longer than my beard  The Harmony gyms are not cheap here... about $200 per month.

I would love to train at one. So many options for all muscle groups. Keeps it entertaining
