has anyone had any experience with this?

i've been feeling 'out of it' for a while - kind of foggy and loopy mentally... like im in a 'dream' sometimes.

so my doctor set me up for a CT scan to rule out any issues with the ol' noodle.

these were the findings:

Severe Pan paranasal sinus mucosal disease is present worst in the fronal, sphenoid and ethmoid sinuses.

a quick google search indicates that chronic sinus issues can cause cognitive issues.

so i guess my sinuses are fucked.. which is weird, because i dont have any headaches or infection

also never had covid, and never had any of the shots

What has become of your follow up with the ENT?

still awaiting the appointment

just wanted to see if anyone here experience the same condition

guess i'll update when i get back from the ENT

yep i have horrible sinus issues. no headaches or infection currently(but can develop a infection quickly), just clogged up nasal passages.
my ENT said my nasal passages are very small and once any sort of allergen get into my nose it clogs it up and cant drain.
plus i have a deviated septum so i'm already fucked. going for a allergy test in a week or so, then will probably need surgery.
i also had 2 cysts pop up that my dentist caught on teeth xrays(about a year ago), went on antibiotics for a few weeks and it knocked them out.
also caught covid last year and had Histoplasmosis.
safe to say my sinuses are fucked up, and i would spray Afrin every day if it didnt cause even more issues.

i have definitely noticed brain fog, dizziness, and the dream state you speak of.

yeah that's pretty much what i got.

wild

i have a deviated septum as well.

while i am sorry to hear of your struggle, i am happy to know that im not alone

I have had sinus issues for about 15 years now...mucus drips down into my throat...it then hardens into something like a raisin...coughing this crap up every morning is lots of fun...

Not anything to be concerned about. The ENT will review your CT and do a quick exam. Probably start you on a corticosteroid and maybe an antibiotic if he suspects a potential underlying infection. If your sinuses are obstructed, he may recommend surgery to simply improve the drainage from your sinuses. If you go the surgical route, you’ll feel better pretty quickly after surgery (probably by the 1 week post-op appointment).

it's the weirdest thing - because im not super congested, no headaches (at least that i can discern)

i can breathe through my nose.... but am definitely a mouth breather
