For all the OP knows he helped out a friend that got busted and started squeeling that he knew a "dealer", and now undercover's are trying to get in with him.

If it were me I would tread with caution.

I'd rather be a little cautious and look back and laugh about it than to risk not listening to my instinct and end up facing charges because of it.

CLEAN HOUSE I got some strange things going on myself and I'm not paranoid.Oh yeah when you clean house put some nasty stuff in the garbage bag, like urine or stool, then laugh when you think of them sifting through your throw aways trying to get enuf for a warrant.They use terrorism to pass the "patriot act" to steal your rights as a citizen. I had an experiance which made me go and learn my rights and then read all the crap they try to get away with time after time. sorry for the rambling post but it is 4am. I am in NYC and I feel like I'm living in an occupied land only the troops are our own police. look up all the stuff that has gone on in NYC in the past year alone.There is even a "stop and frisk" law in place, which means no probable cause, i guess just the officers "Gut instinct". Just look at this latest incident, about 2 weeks ago 3 or 4 officers beat the hell out of some young guy only someone was taping it. There was a supervising officer on the scene and the last thing you see "on the video" is an officer ordering the guy to stop filming.I could go on 4 ever but this just hit a sore spot.Trust yourself, listen to the voice inside of you it is usually correct.

You do illegal stuff.... that is why you worry about things like this. I am not passing judgement, just making an observation.
Something is not right with this guy, he is going to either bust you, rob you, set you up, or do something else that has to do with your involvement in whatever illegal activities you are doing.

If I was doing something that warranted an undercover investigation and this kind of thing happened to me. It would definitely get my radar chirping. Find out if he is really in recovery. What is the name of his home group where he is from, then look it up. All home groups are registered with the fellowships central office whether it's AA, CA, NA etc..

POLITELY confront him...Be polite because if it is some strange coincidence, you don't need to look like the lunatic! Explain to him the "coincidences" as you've just explained them here, and no matter what his explanation is, tell him he's made you and your wife very uncomfortable and you'd like him to just keep his distance...You're not interested in being friends...No offense, etc! If he's a nut, this will amplify his behavior and you'll need a restraining order!!

I don't know what you are or have been into, be it past or present but it sounds like it could be an undercover cop! If it's not a cop, and you have some money that somebody might know about, that talked, it could be a con artist looking to scam you while you and your wife are at a vulnerable point in your lives!! In any case, distance yourself from this guy...It's all a little too creepy!!! Try the above and see if he goes away....If not, get the restraining order!!

clearly that is not what I am referring to. I suspect his involvement in illegal activity goes far beyond personal use of AAS.
