These posts are so cool, I know nostalgia and all that but pro bodybuilding just hit different back then.

I heard he used to only really curl like 10lb dumbells for stupid reps. The guy was a freak, that era had my fav guys to date, I truly beleive it was the golden era.

I just watched Lee Preiest doucmentary, bought on amazon, not the on by GI. Man, this guy, looks so wild, even at 17 natural he looks better than I will ever look on AAS.

Interesting tid bit of information Paul was actually 6’3 but lied and said he was 6’1 as he thought if he told people his real height and weight he would be judged down for it.

I knew a guy who saw him in the gym many times, saw him train, etc. Said he looked like Frankenstein, pure monster. The muscle just hung off him, slabs of muscle everywhere. I remember him saying that he even his forearms had a ‘hang’ to them. And this might be hyperbole but he said the oil was just seeping out of shoulders.

Fun fact- Paul was Toney Freeman’s idol in bodybuilding. He was always chasing Paul’s look in his earlier years as a pro.

Dillet was the epitome of the term freak. Seeing him in the flesh must've been crazy and as many of said he was supposed to train with little intensity but he didn’t need to!

Same with flex in his book when he said they didn’t want to sweat in the gym on Friday night cos they were going out to the club straight from the gym
