To the fellow competitors here, what have you found works best for the last minute/peak week of show prep?
Do you like to cruise in without any sodium, water, carb depletion?
Do you load and then drop water completely for the last two days? What was your water depletion protocol like?
Do you use a diuretic? If so, which one? Which ones didn't work out so well for you?
Did you use a major carb up? If so, what carbs worked best for you?
Did you use a ketogenic diet for the last few weeks of show prep? Did ketogenic diets work for you or did you lose too much muscle?
Did you use any type of water manipulation tricks like salt baths, etc...
Any tips or stories about your experience with show prep would be helpful to many here i'm sure.
