I have good advice, don't bother to train legs.

this is for a physique contest?

you need to be VERY lean to notice water manipulation

based on what ive seen of 'physique' guys you shouldnt worry too much about water, you probably wont be lean enough to really notice... I would focus on your leanness, hair, and teeth whiteness

A little late to the party....

Anyways -- I wont always load someone for just 1 day. It will strongly depend on where their body is at -- are they very depleted? How long have they been on low carbs?

Most importantly -- do they need to make an EARLY weigh-in!?

I predominantly like to load 1 or 2 rather large carb days say tuesday and wednesday or just 1 of those days.

Wish I could post a pic of my physique guy doing a show this weekend...he will be loading Tuesday and Wednesday -- I believe 275g for both days.

Something people should always remember --- never sodium load.

What I mean by that is, just have it high from the initial stages and leave it be.

If you decide to get 'cute' and increase sodium even higher the last week along with water -- you will gain unpredictable fluid weight and it simply takes too long for homeostasis to regulate the introduction of higher sodium.

This will make you need to be more aggressive with water depleting 1 day out....

Thanks for the reply man. So you have them load more towards the beginning of the week rather that the end? If so I could see how that makes sense because I was considering that myself, but could not find any info on any one doing that.

Loading early/mid week will allow for you to clean up any spill over and still be full by stage time.

You'd essentially load a bit early -- then re-load friday evening -->into Saturday.


If weight is concern and sucking down -- you could stay low carbs until you make weigh-in then load just Friday into Saturday.
