Lucian and I were discussing this yesterday, and I wanted to hear from all you seasoned competitors ...
Do you think it's possible to "peak" your body for a show several times a year? When I refer to "peaking," I mean you nail your conditioning to the exact day/time you're standing on stage being judged. I don't just mean having "good enough" conditioning to place well or to win; I mean to actually nail your conditioning 100%.
For those of you who've done it, how much time was it between shows that you were able to peak again? Was your conditioning better at the first or the second (or third, fourth) show?
And how many times a year do you think you've successfully peaked for a show?
I'm interested to hear your thoughts on how your conditioning differs - or doesn't - for each sequential show.
What's the most number of shows per year that you've done?
I realize there may be differences for male bodybuilders and female figure competitors, but I'm interested in hearing all your opinions and experiences.
