on the net calories thing, does anyone know if quest bars or legit 200 calories, or do they use the scam it appears this peanut butter company is using?
Just add the total carbs and protein by 4 and the fat by 9 and you'll see. Haven't had a quest bar in a while but iirc, they are usually around 25 total carbs, 20 protein, and 7-9 fat. Adds up to 180-200 cals so they're counting total carbs, not just net.
went to this cookie and ice cream place with my daughter yesterday.
they had "Keto Ice Cream" so i had to check out the nutrition info. it had xyintol (sp?) in it also.
i immediately looked up normal ice cream to compare.
normal ice cream had WAY less fat in it, same carbs, and 1.5gms more protein.
so, why would u want to eat the keto ice cream?
just gonna enjoy the real thing IF i must.

All that keto stuff is such bullshit. They've really gotten away with making some silly products, though. I saw 'keto coffee creamer' at the store the other day, picked it up and it was like 20g carbs per serving LOL WTF Just garbage. And it sells. Want keto creamer, use half and half or regular creamer, just as long as it doesn't have added sugar! Most are basically keto, already!
