A business man trying to make a quick buck, nothing to see imo. Who does he think he is going to compete with? The nfl, the Olympics?

The masses don't want sports to become a battle of who can use the most drugs. Real sports organizations have 0 reasons to allow PED use, they are thriving with them being banned. The nfl already has tons of lawsuits already over guys who bumped their heads. No sports organization wants additional scrutiny or lawsuits, it's bad for business.

PED are illegal in most sports ...weather recreational ped users like it or not and that won't change. Don't shoot the messager. Most gym rats I know and aas users don't even pay attention to sports. Most big sports nuts I know couldn't care less about the gym.

There is about as much demand for this league as there is to have sex with lizzo.

I’m thinking the existing sports leagues know that some athletes will use PEDs no matter what, so QBkillas observation makes perfect sense- officially ban it, but don’t enforce it too much, you get the enhanced athletes anyway, and avoid liability. Genius.

Yeah these guys will do anything they can to get an edge, even risk suspension. Almost like speeding, sometimes you don't get caught, other times you do.

I think the ones they let get away with it are the stars. Would be a bad look to see Aaron judge, pat Mahomes, ohtani caught juicing. However if the media gets wind...then all bets are off they will get exposed.

I'm actually interested and would like to see this gain a following.

I knew a guy in college who was one spot away from being an alternate for the us Olympic cycling team. I never heard of EPO before I knew him... Lol.

I was also a member of a pretty famous gym for a while. A high level national competitor there was talking once about a bunch of MLB guys he knew. No superstars, but some guys you knew of you followed the sport. Turns out he used to live in Scottsdale and "trained" some of them in the off season,
He did air quotes with his hands when he said trained. Hahaha

So, id like to see what athletes can do if they don't have to hide it.

Genetics are still the ultimate determining factor in sports. The best athletes will stay in the Olympics where the money and sponsorships are, plus a lot are already taking drugs. We might see some new records in Weightlifting...maybe. I think people will be surprised.

Ummm have you seen the actual statistics on who makes money in the Olympics??

The organization, the networks etc make money, the athletes make ZERO…

And only 1/10th of 1% of gold medalists actually go on to make any kind of money with contracts and endorsements etc, think Phelps and Bolt…

Almost all Olympic athletes are dead broke.. Unless you count state sponsored athletes like those in the Russian or Chinese programs, where they’re not necessarily rich but they’re provided for, so to speak.

The Enhanced Games has prize money in the millions of dollars for their winning athletes..

I think they’re on to something here..

Why bother? They are all enhanced anyway. (A broad generalization I know but deal with it .) You will get the same outcome, the same people will win if everybody was off drugs or on. It only matters if there is an “imbalance of power” which in retrospect might be why this attempt is being made, to level the playing field. Personally I think it is a fool’s errand but what do I know?

I don't think this is going to gain traction. In fact, I think it will bring more unwanted attention to PED's. People already know they work, but they've been told how bad they are. They're also viewed as cheating due to their status under the law and in sports organizations. If ANY of these athletes have a medical issue, whether or not it is related to PED use, it will be viewed as a side effect of the PED use. We already know drug use is rampant in professional sports as well as the Olympics. If the athletes of the Enhanced Games don't break a long list of records, then it could imply that PED use is still a big part of the Olympics and professional sports. This won't sit well with these organizations, owners, etc. This is where I can see powerful individuals making sure the Enhanced Games die a swift death! The campaign against it will be how bad PED's, mainly steroids, are. It will reignite the general publics negativity surrounding steroids and could bring a renewed campaign against them. I'm of the mindset that the less we hear about steroids in the news, the better!

Yeah, I'd check it out a few times like I did with the BKFC...The "tested" Olympics aren't worth the watch anymore, maybe some mass monsters running around should at least be entertaining to watch.

But I agree with others, most likely it does nothing but bring more negative attention to PED use.

PEDs been used behind the scenes for decades, only thing they are doing now is letting it happen with out athletes worrying about beating tests....

Also, a real question, who would chooose to compete in this?
Disgraced athletes who are on their way out of their sport? So they can tarnish their name and whatever legacy they had on their way out? That seems incrediblyyyy unlikely. So then who? Youngg athletes, they wont understand the legacy part of it and wont understand this is probably ruining the rest of their competition career, who probably arent genetically gifted enough to be a top circuit?

the ideaaa, by itself, sounds cool and fascinating. But the execution of it is so fuckin hard and is probably worse for our society than anything else.
