You guys are talking about PGF2a (Lutalyse), not PGE-1. Completely different prostaglandins with completely different effects.

PGE-1 (Alprostadil, Caverject, Muse, etc) is used as an injectable for erectile dysfunction, to give long-lasting erections to men who don't respond to the PDE-5 inhibitors.

PGF2a was briefly popular among bodybuilders back in the mid-2000's, who used it for it's effects on localized site growth. It was briefly popular for a reason: it made people sick and shit their brains out.

Personally I never tried it. I got into bodybuilding for the glory and the girls, not to be enduring endless bouts of diarrhea and vomiting. Being forced to sit on the toilet all day for a little extra site growth may sound like a good idea to some people; doesn't appeal to me at all.

Can we please keep the PGE-1 thread to actually talking about PGE-1, not PGF2a? Start a different thread on PGF2a (Lutalyse) if you are interested in the experiences of users. I'm sure there are other old-timers like me who remember it, for better or for worse.

Funny thing is that I probably don't need it, but I do like not having to try to worry about maintaining an erection when going for a while. Exactly this. TriMix or PGE-1 can be a relationship or marriage saver. I love my wife, and she's the mother of my child. But after over 8 years of being together, and especially with the baby leaving us with little sleep, the spark and desire and excitement are gone and having sex with my wife is more of a duty than a pleasure. I have sex with her to make sure she knows that I still love her and find her desirable, because I would never want to hurt her feelings and make her feel unwanted. TriMix helps a lot with that, and I know that it can help other marriages and relationships as well.

And guys should be very careful with the dosage. Start low and slowly increase from there. Everybody wants to be a porn star; nobody wants to be the guy having to go to the ER to have your erection drained of blood with an 18 gauge needle.

And if you are constantly having to use TriMix or PGE-1, you probably have underlying health issues that you should be taking care of before they do more harm to you. You can only use PGE-1 as a band-aid to cover up other issues for so long, before those other health issues (high blood pressure etc) start to take their toll.
