pH of solution for reconstituting peptides

I always heard that peptides should be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water but I recently read that retatrutide and cagrilintide (maybe others too) are more stable in a solution of pH 4-4.5. If it will take weeks (sometimes months) to go through a vial, should we be using a solution with a pH of 4-4.5 to reconstitute the peptides instead of bacteriostatic water?

^^^IMO; only if you reeeally want to complicate a simple thing

..practical use ..experience ..& subsequent results/feedback tells you that BAC works just fine


..BTW IIRC; anything re-con'd with BAC water is Good-2-Go for 60days
↑if you can not use a vial within that time ..simply buy vials with smaller concentrations

Haha, you got me! I am embarrassed to say I read it on Reddit.

I have not been using these peptides long enough to notice decreased potency over time. Thanks for your response. I will continue to use bacteriostatic water.
