Phenol/Carbolic acid burns like hell

My bcomplex comes in 2ml amps. I've never injected something that burned so bad in my life. Literally feels like your injecting acid. It has phenol in it. The amps come from a pharmacy in india and are for human use but DAMN that stuff burns. I hope Phenol doesnt have any long term sides. The dose says .05%w/v whatever that means.
