Dexter did look great I would have loved to see him 3rd though.

I would have put him as high as second. Conditioning only goes so far. Kai has so many genetic flaws, he looks like a bunch of spare parts thrown together.

As for Phil, I think he was light years ahead of the field.....and will be for some time.

I just like Rhoden's shocking overall look. I would have liked to have seen all three of them compared. True, his conditioning wasn't on the same level, but his shape and freaky body parts were pretty impressive.

You must have been smoking a big ass blunt during this whole thing bc kia was a hell of alot harder than Sean -Sean looked to me at finals a bit softer than the rest. His physique with about 20 more lbs of LBM he would be unstoppable.

We can all have our input but at the end of the day its political and also very subjective. I see the results one way and everyone else may have a different opinion of it. I mean honestly you can argue that Dexter won, Kai won, Phil won, it just matters what the judges see themselves. Too bad there isn't a more precise way of judging. Possible getting there measurements of all muscles, waist, body fat %, height, weight, etc. That would be the most effective way of deciding who is the best.

No clue how you can say that when Kai came real close to beating him. The majority of people that I know that bodybuild all had Kai winning. Phil is great but I think he's starting to fade already. His condition slipped from last year and his one arm is starting to get a lot bigger than the other. Next year will be really interesting.

Kai looked pretty damn good, but Phil was slightly better. Cutler is wider than both of them, but has a blocky look. It just depends on what the judges want to award on any given day.

conditioning was on point with kia. phil was off but not off enough to kia to win yes kia did look better but not enough to blow the champ off. this has happend to all the mr.o's. who at one time or another missed their peak. kevin should of beat ronnie ; lee the flea should of beat haney ; happened to arnold and dorian a couple of times. biggest screwing was giving arnold his 7th win at the 1980 mr.o. kia made alot of improvements esp. his waist line. phil tried to come in a lil bigger which wasnt a help to him. im glad branch didnt make top 3. his head has done blown up to be a billy bad ass. with all the kiss ass of the hardest working bodybuilder etc. walks around with a chip on his shoulder.

Have to agree on branch. After meeting him at the expo I didn't know who was a bigger ass, him or Lou. Very full of himself like his shit don't stink and not at all a person for the fans. Meeting Johnny Jackson at the Gasp booth made up for it, amazing person

People say phil hasn't improved much since last year. look at his lower lats! Kia - ehhem - kai has thicker lower lats because he's shorter and has a squatty frame. Impressive but compare that to Dorian in his time and there is no comparison.

Example(s) Kai's strange arms. Kai's short, wide waist. Wider than thick frame (unbalanced) etc.

Lets hope that victories like Phils will lead BB away from the shear mass monsters and freak factor champions and back to something beautiful.
