I took the advice Phil has posted here on only eating when hungry instead of the normal 6 meals a day eating every 2 hours. What a difference. I am natural and have gone from 204 to 198 in 4wks. But it seems to be more fat than anything as i have lost 2 inches off my waist but have only lost 6 lbs. The great thing is i can eat anything i want and still lose the fat.
Just want to thank Phil for posting some of his theories here and helping many of us who were once brain washed by the bodybuilding diet myths.

Good work RC, i have gone from 275-262 and still going....I feel great, but almost, ALMOST guilty about not eating every 2hrs etc....

I've actually took your advice from those threads too Phil ! I've lost 5lb. in a couple of weeks and am harder and haven't lost any strength or size at all! Thanks a lot, that thread did help me see things a little bit differently..for the better! -StOrY

I took his advice aswell, as Im not on that type of level yet to just be eating ALL the time and putting it to good use. Ive lost roughly 5-6 pounds over the past 3 weeks, and I was out of the gym completely for a solid week due to vacation and I havent lost any muscle size or strength.
 
Phil i must stop by as i am very close. Just down the thruway.

It is very different as i am 41 so have doing the traditional way for many years. It is nice not to have to worry about food and look at the clock. Also i was always bulking and cutting and it did hurt my health as now i have high cholesterol and triglycerides so i am hoping this will put it in check.
I was worried about not having enough energy but feel better than ever not weighed down by the extra food. I will stick with this and see if i can get shredded buy just using this concept and not limiting food choices but eating what i want only when i am truly hungry.

I have to say it: Thanks Phil for inventing eating when hungry? WTF? If a non-bodybuilder reads it he will think we are a bunch of retarded people... Anyway, thanks Phil, I also found it great info

speaking on eating too much.. i , after all thses years, have stopped eating so much post workout.. i used to eat way too many carbs post workout to "aid in recovery".. been doing it for many years.. i finally realized that i dont burn near as many carbs/calories in my workouts as i was "thinking" in my head... once i did this, my stomach started coming down and i did not lose any recovery that i could notice..
 
Ive been using Phil's diet plan for 10 days now. Im eating less in prep for a show, however, Ive had improvements in strength, lost 2lbs, and feel full. This is, of course, in combination with Phil's training guidance as well. Looking forward to maturing this progress.

i agree, many people believe they burn way more glycogen than they actually do, u need an insulin spike, not a diabetic coma
 
You are eating anything you want? Does this mean your nutritional intake is not clean? just curious...
 
Its taking some getting use to. Im still trying to figure out if I am hungry or if my stomach is just not full. Sounds stupid but I am actually having a tough time knowing if I am hungry or not. I have found myself eating more since i started this...
