Has anyone ever tried this ??

My mother in law is suffering from dementia and declining so we are grasping at straws to help slow it down some. A Dr that promote eastern medicine out of New Orleans here suggested trying this and says it helps restore cognitive function really well and when combined with Ashwaganda works on stress as fast and well as Xanax.!!
Those are all bold statements but if it even helps a little I'd definitely have her try it.

I feel like I saw someone on this site mention that very low dose dnp (like 5mg per day) helps with neurodegenerarive conditions

But I could be wrong

But I imagine things like growth hormone - that increase neurogenesis and neuroplasticity might confer some sort of benefit

I would say a low carb diet, (good luck with that) some antioxidants, and my favorites are. Acetylcholine,Dmae, Ginkgo, rhodiola rosea extract, and fish oils. Hope that helps
