Well I got fifth in my contest, the western regionals here in phoenix (same contest as Vander)......I moved up this year from lightweight to middleweight....I am a little disapointed with my placing but I am happy because i looked the best i possibly could have on that day....Everything came together at the perfect time....I was very happy with my conditioning during prejudging....Saying the competition was tuff is a major understatement.....The guy who won the class also wont the Emerald Cup is is just goin around pickin up first place trophys as he pleases.....the second place guy was last years winner, i though he look more like 3rd or 4th though...i thought Mikey should have placed 2nd.....The 4th place guy is a friend of mine, he was in very good condition but i thought for sure i looked better....That leaves me for fifth...Nothing to be ashamed of, i had a great time....They had us onstage for a very long time, they kept saying how close it was and they just needed a couple more poses ( ya right more like 10 more)......There were 11 competitors in the weight class....Here are some pics of prre judging, these were just the ones my wife took with our digital but i have some good close up ones that i will post when i get them back....These are kinda blurry but they give you an idea....I am the guy in the goldish velvet trunks....

It's hard to tell a whole lot, but from what I can see it looks like your over all structure was more symetrical than any of the other guys. Your quads definitely had a better shape from what I can see than the other guys in the pics. I can't really tell anything as far as conditioning, but to me your shape was the best in the pics.
