This thread is for everything, and anything relating to bodybuilding of the past. Pics, videos, discussion.

Unknown guys, well known guys, doesn't matter. Just a nostalgic thread for the guys that built this sport, and whose shoulders we stand on.
 
1992 Iron Man.

Vince Taylor ended up winning. An excellent showing from Milos, Thierry Pastel, a comparably massive Mike Matarazzo, and more.

It's interesting to see that there was little to no music during the judging, you can clearly hear the audience and head judge - a far cry from the format of today's shows.

Ironman lighting. Man, just have whoever did those shows do all shows. Or at least pass on to others what you did and how you did it. That's what works best.

Also, Gladys Knight's 'Licence to Kill' just plain works as a posing song. Shawn Ray used it a few times just like Ron Love does here.
 
Steve Reeves is probably responsible for more people getting interested in developing their physique than anybody on the planet earth. Every woman wanted to jump his bones and every man wanted to look like him.
