I did a search and found a few older post. Just seeing if anybody has came across other solutions. Did the insoles but now my shoes are tight and at the end of the day it starts getting uncomfortable.
I found Superfeet Green solved my long term battle with plantar fasciitis. Others things brought some short term help but didn't solve the issue. Feet swell throughout the day and can be a half size bigger. I would loosen the laces of my shoes later in the day if needed. But i didn't tighten them much in the morning either. Standing all day at work on a concrete floor seems to have caused the problem.
Avoid aggravating factors for period of time, stretch your posterior chain (hams, glutei, calves, soleus, and platar foot), rolling foot on 1" pic pipe, and even using anti-inflammatory gels for a period of time. Then slowly return to your baseline activity. At least this has worked for me.
Strassburg socks work pretty well at night for me. a little awkward to get used to but I found them pretty effective for relieving that morning first steps pain.
