Platelet count low?

Blood test came back and my platelet count is 139, and the range of it is 140 to 400 thousand/uL. Has me kinda worried.

if you are taking nsaids, it can reduce count. So take a look at what medications you are on.

I took asprin, 81mg daily. When ever I would drink I would take advil before I head to sleep with alot of water praying to not get a hang over.

my count was 138 last week. doc said not to worry, motrin can lower the count. nothing to worry about.

Oh forgot to say this; the tests were ran back in feb(16th for the first test and 28th for the second test) the doctor wanted me to retake the test again and I sorta pushed it off and I finally did it today. Did I mention my urine leaked out during shipping? Sucks my pee is on someones stuff

I wouldnt worry to much the platelet normal rages are just a range. Your slightly under but its not too low. Platelets count just shows clotting time for your blood. I dont wanna be that smart guy on this thread, soo just dont look too much into it.

What was your Hematocrit? I have a theory that ASS induced elevated hematocrit causes the body to lower its platelet count to protect against clotting. Also, nandrolones have been reported to cause lowered platelets.

Could be genetic, could be you had an infection like a cold or something your body perhaps was fighting off at that time.
