Thanks for all your support and advice. My Brother has a Hodkins desease, the good part is that he has a positive actitude, he want's to live, another good thinks is there's no metastasis, his organs are intact, liver, kidney, pancreas, intestine, etc.Again thanks for all your support.

Is good to put him in a alkaline diet ?

Is better mega dosing of antioxidant or better a synergistic coctel of low doses of various antioxidants ?

I don't post here much, but I work in this industry on a daily basis. I agree with the earlier comments about seeing a naturalpath first. I would reccomend names such as Dr. David Lee and Dr. Michael Gallo. I would do research on stem cell regeneration as well. I can post for information here if you would like. Best of luck to you!

This guy is saying that a plant based diet is best and dairy (specifically casein) is the worst thing to eat in terms of cancer.

I don't eat a plant-based diet but I've always thought dairy was poison.

I was told by an old Biology professor of mine that he had a friend that would juice fresh carrots and drink a tall glass every day (has to be freshly juiced). Said that was one of the main reasons, in his mind, that the cancer never came back. Sorry to hear bro and good luck!

i suggest having him take a high quality omega-3 fish oil. NOW Foods make a good one. Take at absolute minimum 9g of fish oil per day, this is a great anti inflammatory.

I would also increase monounsaturated fat intake, with something such as macadamia nut oil.

Good news is Hodgkin's lymphoma is eminently curable with chemo. No metastases, sounds like it was detected early, all positives on your brother's side.

The "alkaline" diet is good, not because there is such a ridiculous thing as controlling your bodies serum pH through food, but because it focuses on healthy fruits and veggies. Again, a well rounded healthy diet should be the only concern and staying away from isolated casein, which shouldn't be a problem. Animal proteins, despite the rhetoric spouted by the pseudoscience/vegan crowd, are fine. Antioxidants are definitely a plus, but again the goal should be balance, not abundance.

not to put down the natural food and herbs, but i know 5 people who did that and they're gone now. drugs, and only drugs, will help him. and he's young, so he's got the will and the strength to beat it. stay positive, bust his balls. i had it, my dad had it, a friend of mine died from ovarian cancer, my uncle has pancreatic cancer, my friends father inlaw just died from it. but it was late stage. caught early, it's not an automatic death sentence. just a trial to go thru and come out stonger for it. i wish him the best. stay positive, bud!

I am not a nutritional expert......so I can't give you any advice

I respect peoples opinion and beliefs, BUT PLEASE DONT WASTE TIME WITH THEM. I BET HALF OF THE PEOPLE SPITING OUT REMEDIES DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT HODGKINS IS. NOT ALL CANCERS ARE SAME.

Let me tell you from personal experience that hodgkins is beatable! I have been cured for 6 years and feel great. Except my thyroid is fried from the radiation. Now I take t4 every morning. Anyway I tried eating healthy and exercising lightly regularly. I admit I gave up half way thru the chemo because it felt like I was spinning my wheels. Imagine having the flu everyday for 6 months. Like I said before he will get angry, depressed and lonely and take it out on the ones he loves. So just be there fir him and tolerate it. He will be cured as soon as the chemo and radiation are completed. Good luck and if u need anything shoot me a pm.

I am with everyone else that says ignore the radical BS diets. Healthy diet as recommended by medical specialists.

This might sound like more BS, but, be encouraged by your brothers positive attitude as this affects success rate! I wish yall all the best

I'm no expert, but I agree with those that have said to keep a positive attitude and see a specialist. I would also recommend looking into vitamin B-17.
