Hi guys, i am tired to see in the other forums coments about Ronnie saying he is done, h is old, he is everything but no good coments.

The guy is a TRUE CHAMPION, We all know he is not going to win, but plese DONT MAKE FRESH MEAT FOR THE TIGGERS OF HIM. He is going to be always one of the best bodybuilders, and he mark a difference between the big guys and the huges, he started the freaky era.

This forum is different and we want to keep it like that.

I agree Hienz. I dont know how to feel. I am honestly heartbroken right now. I saw him come out and my heart sunk. I know there is nothing anyone can do to stop the haters from hating.
It was many years ago that I saw an old clip from Pumping Iron on an A&E documentary and went looking for a copy. Two years would pass before the re-release and I could even get my hands on one. At the time I swore I would NEVER follow the current bb scene because it was just too much. Then for laphs’ one day I looked up the results just after the 2004 Olympia and saw Ronnie for the first time. I couldn’t explain why but I just HAD to learn about him. I bought his books, followed his history, and in the process learned more than I ever thought I could about BB. I kept learning and found out about the great Dorian Yates. I saw my first ever contest when I got the 2005 Olympia on PPV. It was because of him I became a fan and kept an interest in the sport I love. All good things come to an end. I accept that. But this thing is so painful. It is good to see I am not alone in my heart break. Let the people say what they want. Those of us who are die hard fans and know what he is about will always keep him in the highest regard that he deserves and history will give him the respect he has earned. There is a lesson to learn in this thing somewhere and as a fan I owe it to Big Ron to figure out what that lesson is so I can learn from him and apply it to my own life just as I always have. Thank you Big Ron!

I understand how you feel, however this is reality. He should have retired last year with dignity and realized his time has come and past. The way he came out yesterday HE SHOULD be 4-6th place. Now being the 4-6 BB in the world is by no means a slap in the face, however for an 8 time Mr. O it IS..

He started the freaky era. No actually in MANY peoples opinion he ruined the sport... he has pushed the envelope so far with IGF/GH that the physiques ARE UGLY PERIOD. I really hope that other competitors realize that a 30" waist= a CHAMPION.

Wolf should be Mr. O besides needing to bring up the calves he absolutley DESTROYED that entire lineup, Ronnie's Most Muscular looked like a CHILD next to Wolf.

this board to me is about being somewhat honest. I really didnt see anything truly disrepectfull about Ronnie, to say something horrible happened and wish he would gone out last year is just the truth not disrespectfull unless I miss someone saying something unreasonable. It was sad for me to watch him pose and I wish he woulda gone out being a little bit better but I can only imagine that is a very difficult reality for him to acept. Wish him the best and he defined unhuman.

Ronnie deserves the respect of every bodybuilder out there. But last night at the pre-judging I didn't know what to think. I actually felt disapointed in how he looked. Now matter where he places this year he is still a true champion and one of the great bodybuilders of all time.

I meen you no disrespect but Hienz didnt post this thread to hear your negative thoughts about Ronnie. Plus, Hienz can see all that for himself, you may not know this but he is a PROFESSIONAL and has forgotten more than most of us will ever know about how a person looks. Im just sayin that there are other threads for you to post what you think and you piss on us by posting here. Next time show a little class and read the title of the thread your posting in and who posted it. He showed a lot of class by posting this thread considering he trains with the probable winner of the show. That shows a lot about how a PROFESSIONAL should act. Its to bad you wrote before you thought. We are lucky a guy like Hienz even bothers to talk to us in the first place and this is exactly why more guys like him do not.

I also want to say that I cant dispute your thoughts at all. In fact I really agree with what you said in your post. I couldnt begin to argue it at all. I just didnt like it being posted on THIS thread. If I were a mod I would delete everything after Hienz first post and lock it but I am not (thank god lol). Im not tryin to knock you light. My emotions are high. I cant watch any of the videos or look at the pics because it hit me so hard. I appologize for going off. It wasnt needed and contributed nothing to the thread. What do the people mean??? it is his decision, what does he have to do, buy a house in Tenesee ,sit on a chair and forget about what he loves???

Come on bros, look at the boxers, they lose an fight and then they come and they lose again, then they get retired and tehn they anaunce another fight and they win, what is the difference??? our sport is the same like others.

Awesome post Heinz. It's funny how quickly everyone forgets the guy has 8 Olympia wins and how damn generous and nice this guy is. But it's only in America. They respect him very much in Europe and I'm sure will continue to do so for as long as he cares to guest pose and compete.

He did what he loves, he did it well, and he owned the sport for 8 solid years. Who out of the ones hating on him can say the same? You may or may not like the direction he took the sport in, but he definitely garnered it more attention that it had before. I have young guys come in all the time to the nutrition store I work at and say that they got into working out or bodybuilding because of RC. He was the king, and the time of his dynasty may be over, but it doesn't mean that just because he is older now and not at his prime anymore, that he has to retire or that he should get all this flak. His passion for and success in our sport was matched by very few over its entire history. Please, show some respect.

Ronnie looks like shit, he's always looked like shit since he started winning the Olympia. That's not being a hater.......that's the truth and hard to swallow fact. Looks like his gyno came back too. Him and Jay are the epitome of Uni-GUTS! What the hell are tiggers and cocodriles?

first off guys.. the freaks of this sport is what sells this sport.. we can sit back here and armchair quarterback, but the fact of the matter is the fans who PAY to see the big shows lean toward the freaks.. if they did not, the ifbb would have gone with a smaller physiques.. it is pure economics.. like it , hate it, it is the truth.. the guys in the paying seats are there wanting to see the showdown of the giants..jay and ronnie..
now as for ronnie.. should he retire?.. no.. why should he.. wait until some of you are the same age bracket and being told you cant do something you love.. lets hear the opinions then.. ronnie has some injuries.. can they be fixed?.. who knows .. obviously they are still there this year and one year of training has not fixed them.. so lets say for debate ronnie takes second this year.. that means he is the 2nd best in the world according to the ifbb.. how many guys, regardless of age, would retire still the 2nd best in the choosen sport? .. not many who have a chance to still reap financial benefits from being so.. i dont care if ronnie is 44 or 34.. if he is still competitive and making money from being "ronnie coleman" then why the heck would he walk away?.. HE LOVES WHAT HE DOES.. that is all anyone needs to know.. if ronnie should retire then everyone who is 3rd on down should just "give up" and stop competing.. ronnie does not care about the "legacy" he leaves.. he wants to compete.. so sit back and root for him because there is absolutely no reason to hate on him for doing what he loves..
for those who feel that ronnie has somehow "ruined" the sport lets not be so dramatic.. ronnie did what it tookto win.. he went from 245 pounds to 290 pounds in his string of wins and back down.. he did so to keep winning.. the ifbb awarded him for this.. the ifbb gave the fans what they wanted to get financial benefits.. if the fans "hated the freaks era" it sure does not show in the fianacial aspect of the ifbb.. many hate the freaks.. fine.. bodybuilding is s subjective sport.. i am not right and you are not right.. it is a matter of opinion.. as is the judging.. so before one makes a blanket statement that says "ronnie ruined this sport and did not deserve to win the olympias".. you should probably prefix it with "i feel..." since there is no facts in a debate like that.. for all those who feel that way a whole other group feels the opposite.. remember the word "subjective"..
in parting.. lets stop hating on the champions.. this is a silly sport which men get up on stage in their banana hammocks and flex their muscles.. lets debate issues but, not hate on the competitors.. let ronnie have his fun and cheer him on.. it is ronnies life.. i love this "sport".. but, have not seen so many people so "emotional" over a sport or subject in a long time.. if jay wins does my taxes lower?? nope.. if ronnie retires and no longer competes is my standard of living some how going to be better?.. nope again.. if dexter wins is the ifbb magically transformed and the sport taken to a whole new level?.. hhheeecccckkkkk nnnnoooo..... so who cares?.. just enjoy what is going on and deabate and express your "opinions" without dissing ronnie or any other competitor.. in the end all the whinning and bitching about our choosen sport will not effect it one iota.. its been tried and tried.. it is what it is.. but, if ronnie chooses to continue to compete i will cheer him on.. he has given back to the sport more than anyone can imagine.. he is humble, he is a nice guy.. he gives back by doing training camps and opening up his home to fans .. he gives all credit to GOD.. has a great sense of humor and the list goes on.. so tell me.. how is ronnie bad for the sport?? oh yeah.. he is too big..
