PM's new IFBB pro

huge freaking congrats to my boy "THEMASS" (Mitchell Staats) for winning the light heavy and OVERALL title at this years north American bodybuilding championships. Ive known this guy for a long time and watched him steadily improve year by year and keeping his head down, his mouth shut, and grinding day in and day out and now is an IFBB pro. congrats brother you and Lenny make me proud!

Once again congrats MASS!!!

This is a very low key humble guy fellas, a true family man and a hard worker...hard to find that combo in this sport of selfish fucks of me me me me.

I had never met him before the show, I was getting my spray tan done and was walking by and I hear "hey Jonny" I look over and he says Im TheMASS from ProM, lol, kind of akward meeting each other with our dicks out getting spray tanned lol but none the less he could of let me just walk by and not of said anything right!

My class was getting ready to go up and I seen him coming down right after PJs I asked howd ya do? He shrugs well they had me in the middle so we'll see, lol fucker wins it all later on....pretty funny.

I did not know he had such an amazing physique either, he will just get better and I wish him luck in the 212s.
 
Congrats., you looked great.. You actually don't live too far from me.. Good to see a " local " boy do well in this game..:cool::cool:

Ahh never a good time to talk when tanning...lol. I was like I better say something now or I'm not sure if I'll see him again..docks out and all. Now we are like brothers! Haha. Again man..u have a awesome phyisque man!! Keep kicking ass...hope to stay in touch as well..ur a good dude!
 
Congratulations Mitch! I think I competed with you at the All Star last year. I was middle weight though.

5'7
I started dieting at 240 16wks out

Diet was
Low fat (egg whites, isolate, white fish)
Low protein (25g protein per meal - 6 meals)
Carbs high med low (750, 500, 200)

Training high volume
2 on 1 off split 2 a days

D1 back am back traps pm
D2 shoulders am triceps calfs pm
Off
D4 quads am hams pm
D5 chest am bi forearms pm
Off
Repeat

Not uncommon do 30 sets per back..not including supersets and drop sets.
Over 20 sets shoulders and chest not including ss or drop sets etc.

Had a lot of carbs in my system so I had to use em.

Only 150g of protein a day? Damn.
 
Well when carbs are that high..protein doesn't need to be..since carbs are protein sparring and also...eating 750 carbs u will wind up with quite a bit of protein at the end of the day..I prob snagged another 50g or so protein from carbs...and at end of day...it's a calorie thing...if I was eating 400 g protein and 750 carbs I just don't have fast enough metabolism to get in shape with that amount of calories
 
I heard your interview on PBB but already forgot...who was your coach if you don't mind me asking? (I can go back and listen tomorrow too)
