Polygraph test

Hello! I go for a polygraph test next week for a dispatch job and one of the questions on the packet asks if I’ve ever stolen any merchandise before. I’m sure when I was younger I’ve taken small things from a Walmart or target, is that something I should say? I’m getting mixed answers about it.

Say “yes, I stole candy/sodas from xxx”. Ive passed multiple polygraphs. Tell the truth, it add on a descriptor.

Don’t lie off the bat. Tell the truth but bend it.

They are testing for integrity.
