posing routine

hi guys
i havent competed in a few years
but am going to compete this year
and wanted to know how to put a good posing routine together
so it diesnt put the judges and audence to sleep
i will be competing in nabba master class here in new zealand

Pose to music that suits your personality. If you like music with a good beat....and you can move...use it. If you prefer heavy metal and have powerful poses (and perhaps some mass) use that. The last thing you want to do is use music that you dont like even if its the popular tune of the moment. Also, dont limit yourself to the top 10 pop tunes that are popular on the radio now...there are MANY songs you can use so go back into your "Masters competitor" archives and find the old music too if it makes you feel good and you can move to it.

Totally agree, also if you're anything like me & have 2 left feet maybe take a look at doing a few modern jazz dance classes. It'll really help to give you an ear for the beat of the music and how to move to it which can then be transposed into a routine. There's a great modern dance instructor down your way too.
