Do you swab the vials before drawing?

Yes. I use alcohol prep wipes from Webcol. I've been using gear on and off for over 2 decades. Never had anything like this happen.

@LoweRider That looks awful! Hopefully you've recovered fully.

After taking Ibu all day the pain is mostly gone but the knot is still there. If the lump hasn't dissipated in the morning I'm going to take @Samson250 advice and go to the ER and have them drain it.

If it is going down and no fever you will probably be ok. BUT, ANY fever and it keeps sore or inflamed and red, hurry and go to the DR. Years ago, I developed MRSA and was admitted to hospital for 3 days and cut open to remove the infection. No dirty gear or needle, but i did NOT use alcohol swipe after working out and guess I "pushed in" MRSA. Take it seriously. WAS NOT FUN!!

Having this knot festering under my skin is a real concern. It's better today yet still visibleI feel and I feel like there's a foreign object in my body. It's definitely fucking with my head. If this had happened at any other time I would've gone straight to the ER and had it drained.
I have a big weekend planned so this couldn't have happened at a worse time.
Sunday is my 50th birthday and the GF and I are meeting friends and family in Atlantic City, NJ. Wanted to go to Vegas but only a couple people could make it so we settled for AC.
