Possible to have normal LH & FSH but low test & libido?

Srs question, im getting blood work soon, in 3ish weeks but its on my mind, and my mind races, so I feel I have to ask.

Last year after an 8 month bulk/contest prep cycle, I had ZERO libido, my loads were dribbles to nothing, couldn't maintain erection, etc. Got blood work, Total test was 181 & 151 on repreat. LH & FSH were undetectable. Estrogen and prolactin were normal. Free test was horrible, I cant remember the number. All other general health labs were normal.

Now its exactly 1 year later, getting ready to get labs. Did an 8 month bulk/contest prep again, same show, nationals. But post show, I've been on HCG 1500iu 3x per week with aromasin 6.25mg EOD. I can get a better erection and libido, but not great. My loads though, are much much much better. My balls are much larger.

I still can't maintain a decent erection though, without cialis, and my drive is not good.

***So, is it possible to have good LH & FSH numbers but low test? Still needing HRT? Im getting blood work in 3 weeks but im just curious.


I'm concerned with LH & FSH because I care about fertility which is why Im on so much hcg.. im not concerned about fertility NOW, but i want to get it, and keep it from here on out even if on hrt.

I’ve had low test and normal FSH and LH before ever cycling. So yes it’s absolutely possible. Normal levels of LH and FSH =\= strong libido necessarily.

Basically testicular failure, but the hypothalamus is secreting LH and FSH as normal.

So lets say, you have normal LH & FSH on blood work, but low test & suffer erection dysfunction. Would you, or could you.. or would the norm.. that you would be fertile?

Anything else you would suggest? Then I will bring the results to my GP.. normally how I do things.

I'm thinking, "would I" be technically fertile with normal LH & FSH but low test, because I am on 1500iu hcg 3x per week.

You cannot determine fertility without a fertility/sperm count test.

You testes aren't firing basically, so you will also probably have low sperm count. Thats if LH and FSH are in normal range.

It can happen, but your steroli cells might be fine and producing sperm, but your leydig cells might not be and you're endo. Test is low.

Get BW done, but I'd be inclined to come off all drugs and see how your body responds to this on its own without a ton of drugs.

I agree with this, you see this happen with in disease and drug induced (chemo), everything can show normal but fertility is compromised or most likely gone forever.
