I was wondering if it was just as essential to have a similiar carb makeup in your post-cardio protein shake as it is in the post-workout protein shake or are the carbs not needed? Thanks for any info.
 
I think it depends..

:cool: on yur goals, what you are trying to do overall. Gain mass, hell yeah, lose bodyfat, I dont know, I dont. Depends on time of day also. I would say yes if after your workout (weight training) but if in the morning, or at night I would say no. Unless your goal is just to put on weight.

I am currently trying to get leaner, BTW you're looking awesome Gooey, good luck with the show.
 
Cardio for fat loss - no carbs. If you’re doing heavy aerobic activity for other reasons than fat loss, carbs might be smart.

Why in the bloodyhell are you responding to a thread from 2003, those guys aren't even around anymore. WTF?
 
I don't get all the old thread bumping recently. Fair enough if it's a subject very rarely spoken about but guys are bumping up some random and pointless threads.
 
Nothing to add other than Gooey was such a unit back in the day. Always loved his physique. Wheels for dayyysss
