What do you guys take post-cardio (food and supplements)? What is best to consume after cardio and within what kind of time frame is optimal?
 
depends on a lot of factors, some here may be bulking, some may be cutting
 
also depends on when you do your cardio....
 
I do my cardio in the morning on an empty stomach, all I take prior to it is an ECA, chromium picolinate, and yohimbine. I usually do a fairly high intensity on the elliptical machine or jog on the treadmill for about an hour.

Sounds about like my regimen.
 
cyrstal light with some BCAA
 
lets say you are weighing 202 with 10 % body fat ......that means you are having lean weight of 181 lbs....now you want to weight 185 (to start with)
185 have to be turned into Kg .....(185 divided by 2.2) = 84.1
that means you would take about 84 g of carbs... but since its after cardio you don't have to be so dramatic if you know what I mean and 1/3 or 1/4 of that should be whey protein... so for cardio shake lets say you just use 50g of simple sugars from grape juice and about 20g of whey post workout would be fine... adjust to what fits you
