Post show/cut rebound gains

Where do you belive we will grow the most, i just saw the reel from Justin Haris where he say we could get a 70% of gains for entire year in 6 week rebound after a cut or contest prep?
Or taking the whole year off to grow?
Why then some guys take whole year to grow, instead of competing every year?
Were did you saw the most gains happen?
 
depends how you train. If you do lots of sarcoplasm type training you can put on a ton of “muscle” in your rebound.

Myofibril you won’t blow up, but what I see mostly is guys post show will put on 10 or 15 pounds in sarcoplasm and over the year of off-season they built that muscle which stays on the physique, sarcoplasm is lost easily once your less insulin sensitive and is largely based on carb consumption, you see a lot of guys “pump train” really shrink when they diet, that is why
