The protocol i use is this:

Breakfast:-5 whole eggs, 6 oz Ground beef, 1 cup brocolli, 1 Tablespoon of Coconut oil

I train at 11:00am

Post workout: I drink 2 Gatorade(70G carbs) + 1 scoop whey isolate(24g Carbs).

The gatorade is made of Dextrose.Is 70G Carbs Enough?

Should i do 2 Scoop whey protein isolate too?

2 gatorade(70G Carbs),48G Protein isolate?

I'm all about REAL food so for me its 8oz steak and 2 cups rice.... BOOM!
 
Postworkout I love roasted potatoes with himalayan salt and some spicy tabasco + protein shake. The potatoes cooked in the microwave around 12 minutes covering it with one of those:

70g of dextrose sounds high to me, unless you are doing a lot endurance/cardio training...but then again, I don't know your hight/weight/bf and goals or if you are on insulin.

As for me, on days I want to keep it simple, I'll drink 2% Fairlife chocolate milk as a post workout treat…especially legs. :) BTW, Fairlife is filtered in a way that it contains more protein than typical milk brands. It gets the sugars and protein my muscles need after a workout and buys me time until I get home to cook an actual meal like others have already pointed out.

im 31 years old, 208 pounds, 9.8% Bodyfat.

Not on insulin or anything.
