Post-Workout Carbs

Hey fellas-

Currently dieting right now. I was wondering what kind of carbs do you guys take in post workout. I have 3 on the list, not sure which one is the best. I am currently taking in 30g maltodextrin with 50g whey. Should I bump it to 50g? sometimes i train in the eve. The other two choices are dextrose or an 8 oz yam. what do you guys think? Thanks.
 
My postworkout drink is my TREAT for the day :)

I use:
50+g dextrose
55g protein
1 cup either blueberries or stawberries

YYYUUUUUUUM!!!!!! Of course this is by far the most carbs I take in all day. Within an hour of working out I eat 3/4c oats with 1/2c unsweetened applesause. That's about it for carbs all day.

After my workout I have a 20oz bottle of gatorade with about 50-75 grams of pure dextrose and somewhere between 45-50 grams of whey protein isolate (Synthetek) and 200mg of ALA.
 
Hey fellas-

Are we talking in dieting or pre-contest mode? I just switched over to about 45g dextrose with 50g whey protein (isopure) and an hour later i will have my final meal which is the 8 oz eye of round and a 4 oz yam or baby red potato. im having about 150 carbs per day.
 
Ugg doesn't that dextrose bloat you guys?? when I drink that stuff I can't even tie my shoes I get so round and the worst part is I stay that way for a couple hours so thats a few meals im missing right after lifting BAD BOOGIE. But I agree with Vein on teh gatorade, much easier on teh gut. I pretty much drink Gatorade all day though. I tend to make excuses when I have to drink water. Yes I know im a baby my girl tells me everyday.
 
I mix maltodextrin with glucose/fructose (and of course protein).
Mix is 2:1 malto-simple carbs. Most weight gainers are some sort of carb combo like that.
