KK passed away yesterday at the young age of 40. The cause is unknown but I'm sure details will be forthcoming.
I realize there aren't many PL'ers here but I thought the few members who are should know.

RIP big guy

Fuck, that's terrible. He was an absolute beast. Deadlifted 939 lbs RAW, no belt. Monstrously strong.

So sad that he had to go so early, only 40. He and Jon Pall Sigmarsson will be up in Valhalla together, deadlifting during the day and feasting at night.

RIP.

Yea 939 was his meet deadlift,he's actually pulled higher in the gym, close to 960 and that was in 08/09 I believe, everyone thought he was gonna be the first to break 1000

I probably wouldn't be lifting today if it wasn't for KK,before AAS I couldn't put on size for shit but he got me interested in powerlifting and that kept me lifting when I probably would have said fuck it

That’s sad to hear and at that age just terrible. Much respect he sure was living it. Rest In Peace.

Very sad to hear this. He was an incredible lifter, I always wanted to see him and Stan Efferding go head to head in a competition. RIP
