PPJ Reverse-Rebound/Offseason/Diet Log

idk man, I think I am done with it. I'd much rather feel healthy 24/7 and not deal with unnecessary ups and downs in bodyweight, blood presure. What is there to gain from 3 weeks of "fake" strength increase that dissappear immediately once you stop.

Just my thoughts on it. Maybe some guys also handle it better
I’m coming around to this. The more my BP bullies me this early in an offseason the less prone I am to using anadrol. Gonna stick to preworkout use and if I’m still getting issues I’ll drop it entirely. Already have enough chemicals in my body to turn my blood radioactive
 
I’ve been toying around with the idea of a 5th day dedicated to chest/back/adductors but things have been going so well I don’t want to mess with it. Very hard to leave things at 4 days a week when I’m feeling extremely refreshed and recovered with training being the best it’s been in months.

But maybe that’s why everything is going so well, because I’ve managed to rest 3 days and really hammer the intensity and volume 4 days a week.

Right now we’ve got pull on mondays, push on wednesdays, legs on Friday and delts/arms on Saturday.

I sprinkle in 5-6 sets of tricep work AM on pull days, 5-6 sets of bicep work AM on push days, 5-6 sets of lat isolation work on leg days, and 5-6 sets of chest on delt/arm days.

It’s been working really well. But part of me wonders what if I add that 5th day.

It’s a few busy weeks back to back so I won’t be able to add it anytime soon, but I’ll try it in like 3 weeks to see how I get along with it. The moment I start feeling too tired, run down, under recovered etc etc I’ll just pull it

Same here mate, the last 2 years i train 4x times per week and the training is best as it ever was just contiouns progress in everthing,recovery, and felling fresh every seassion to give my absolute best, and in that 2 years i tried to return to 5x per week and in 3-4 weeks im ruined, so i will stay on 4-day split for the rest of my training carrer.

tolerating ezetimibe well. Probably gonna retest cholesterol in two months while on blast to see how it’s looking. Up to 214lbs rn and lines are still somewhat holding up

I feel strong and the pumps are pretty gnarly. Two high days on push and delt/arms at 4.3k, rest days at 2.7k, training days at 4k. Still training 4x/wk despite feeling great enough to go up to 5 or 6x/wk. Gonna stick to my guns and see this split through cause progress is happening

201 vs 214. Blurrier and hairier but looking a bit larger. A bit more than a month apart

I met Joe Binley at my gym a few days ago and we got to chatting about some of his products in Project AD and his sugar fasting book. Needless to say, he was a very cool dude

I think I’m gonna try one day of the sugar diet next week on a rest day, just for shits and giggles

Just recently I started going lower protein on refeed days (slightly higher than bodyweight amounts of pro) and my digestion was much better, less bloat, more hunger etc etc

Got me thinking that maybe cutting back on my protein for a day wouldn’t do any harm, and might do some good.

Gonna go into it with an open mind and I’ll post what the diet itself will look like on this day as it gets closer.

If it’s awesome, I’ll start incorporating it into my rest days, but let’s see.

Had a few off days with horrible digestion. Second time around I forgot to factor in my fiber intake on a push up, never slowly dropped out my greens powder or my fiber product as I should’ve and I’ve been feeling it for the past three days.

Anadrol also came out, not for any other reason than I ran out and don’t want to restock or I’ll be tempted to run it all blast cause it’s THAT good.

This might help digestion too lol. Anyways

Distention maxxing right now at a nice 220lbs. I think we have 240-250lbs this offseason if I keep the gut happy.

1mg oral BPC every morning/1mg injectable to keep things going. Gonna snag KPV too
 
Oh boy. Day got backed up and this is what the last two meals of the day look like. Normally don’t have any issues putting this down but stomach isn’t gonna be happy with this going down.

20iu log will help

Pretty amazing strength gains. Coming off it now but I’d keep running it if I had more. Was doing injectable by the way

Had a conversation with @IFBBProDomCardone yesterday about high GH use and it made me realize I’ve probably been going overboard to my own detriment without the physique to show for it. He’s had a lot of his big amateurs and newly turned pros on less than 6iu’s and I’m more than doubling that lol.

It takes some growing up to understand that maybe more is not better in my case and my persistent abdominal distention, bloating and digestion is only getting worse on each push despite keeping my diet low FODMAP, eating easily digestible foods for me etc.

Backed off the GH to 5iu split into 2.5iu AM and 2.5iu postWO for now just to see what happens for now.

Also running 15iu lantus on training days for now to control BG. This have been going a bit sideways this push phase despite staying 100% dialed in on my diet so we’ll see how much I push before I pull back for a mini cut

Holding 221.6lbs this AM, pictures to come once I shave. 4 broken razors in the past two months…… getting real tired of Chinese shit lol.

Hoping to reach 240lbs before I pull it back to 220 again
 
Been also considering linking up with Chris Tuttle or Austin Stout to resolve some hereditary IBS-D that keeps flaring up.

Hunger is insatiable but my digestion has gone downhill on a measly 4.6k cals. Sucks to suck, should’ve picked up golf instead but here we are!

So you had issues with blood sugar? If yes, how did you measure it? Fasted BG, A1C, etc?
 
Current training split is Legs A/B, delts/back, chest/arms, off, pull, push, off. Been following this for two weeks now and I feel absolutely slammed.

I was having more fun, looking better and feeling hungry to hit the gym on push X pull X legs, delt/arms X

I think it’s a sign that at my current stage in life a 4 day split suits me better than a 5 day split.

Funny how that works, you feel good enough on 4 training days to do a 5th one and then you feel like shit cause your recovery was perfect on 4 days.

Yo. Things felt like they were going pretty awfully this offseason, so decided to switch things up.

Linked up with Austin Stout to correct digestive issues (huge post meal urgency, shotgun diarrhea, 15+ bowel movements in a day etc etc) I’ve been dealing with for most of my life along with insulin sensitivity concerns. Also wanted to address my high LDL/low HDL that I’ve had since I was natty and only exacerbated by AAS. After 4 weeks of cruising my ldl was 180…. Big yikes

To address these three problems we’re doing a bit of reta (.5mg ED) and it’s fixed about 80% of my gut issues along with bringing my fasted BG down 20 points in a matter of almost two weeks. Also added ezetimibe to helped with the LDL.

Went from bulking on 4.6k calories to dieting on 4.6k calories, and have dropped close to 8lbs without adding in cardio. I’m also experimenting with ATX-304 and BAM15 prior to my morning walks. Feel like that’s helped drop a bit of fat alongside the Reta although calories have not changed at all.

We’re in a good spot to fix digestion and cholesterol over the coming weeks while priming me for a better push up. Pretty excited about what’s to come cause I’ve been following Austin’s work for almost half a decade and pretty much booked a consult fully bought into him as a person.

Sitting at 215lbs rn, I’ve looked better and I’ve looked worse, but I pulled out all the gear and I’m just running 250mg test/120mg primo, 5iu GH and 20iu lantus, which I’m sure I’m gonna have to pull soon.

For the first time I’m not ignoring health markers and doing things correctly. I’m 32 and I want to grow old someday, so health is starting to take a priority in my life.

All in all, things are looking up

Never had a diet like this, so I’m looking forward to what it’ll do for my digestion, detoxing, estrogen clearance, and nutrient processing. We’ll ride this out for a while until inflammation and IBS-D improves

All gear dropped. Just on 200mg test. No GH, slin etc

Training was also completely revamped. Upper strength days with undulating periodization, lower strength days with undulating periodization, and hypertrophy days for chest/arms, delts/back, and legs. It’s a 5 day split with a 4 day rotation through the week, only top sets taken to failure in strength days and a bit more metabolic/pump style work 2RIR on hypertrophy days

Again, never done anything like this so I’m interested in seeing how it pans out. No longer married to anything but progress so whatever works, works.
