I must not be have low thyroid function. You must have suspected you had this condition? Good that you are aware!L Carnitine works wonders for some, unfortunately not for me. I'm hypothyroid, therefore we that are hypothyroid experience lethargicy then possibly experience hyperthyroid symptoms post L-Carnitine injection or oral supplementation.
L-carnitine is a peripheral antagonist on thyroid hormone action. As L-carnitine inhibits both triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4) from entering into the cell nuclei. This can cause an episode of a thyroid storm, if one is taking large amounts of liothyronine (T3) along with L-Carnitine. As this will cause the hormone (liothyronine) to pool in the blood (prior to the half life in the plasma) thus once the actions of L Carnitine has cleared from the thyroid receptor, a surge of liothyronine is expressed within the receptors.
Interestingly enough, can be used if one is hyperthyroid, reducing the possibility of a thyroid storm.
is that IM or sub-Q
Do you use 1-2iu insulin with the l-Carnitine to transport when doin fasted cardio?
Ive been doing fasted cardio then hitting 1-2iu slin with 1g inj-carntine. Synthselen Pre Cardio. Be good to do both together pre-cardio but I thougth slin or carbs were needed to load the l-carnitine into the system.??
I have always wanted to try it as I hear it is great. I know a few people who use it at high doses and say it is incredible for getting lean and bringing out detail.
how many CC's per lb of bodyweight needs to be inj to be effective?
Looking great in that picture!L Carnitine works wonders for some, unfortunately not for me. I'm hypothyroid, therefore we that are hypothyroid experience lethargicy then possibly experience hyperthyroid symptoms post L-Carnitine injection or oral supplementation.
