just wondering if anyone else goes thru this, and what explanation/ cure would be suggested...
i'm about 8 weeks out right now, and opposed to any other time i have dieted down for a show my appetite has completely disappeared.
i usually go thru spells of a couple of days a few times every prep where my appetite seems to diminish but only for a day or two. this also seems very cyclical.
normally this wouldn't concern me too much, but im going near a week now with zero appetite/ zero cravings and am fearing over- training and stalling my metabolism out.
so, what i have been doing until my appetite increases again is staying well below my maintenance but making sure im keeping my protein high. i'm a little dragged out from the lack of calories/ carbs due to all of this, more so than usual.
i listen to my body every prep, feeding it when it is hungry, not feeding it when it isnt as opposed to living by the clock as i feel making my body take in nutrients it isn't wanting would be more detrimental to my prep than beneficial, but i always make sure i get my protein allotment in for the day regardless, so the only calories i either will feed it or wont feed it depending on how i feel is coming from fats or carbs.
i'm thinking this approach may have stalled my metabolism out and is causing me to not be hungry. either that or my body really doesnt need whatever caloires im supposed to be taking i and its telling me so.
to top it off i just added in last week 2 compounds last week that i wish i had the appetite to put to good use. no sense adding in compounds to a prep if you dont have the macronutrients behind them to support an anabolic atate.
just want others thoughts on this...
