Pre contest motivation

Fellow Pro Muscle members I have now suffered the ultimate loss...

Yesterday at around 8:20 AM my mother lost her 8 year battle with cancer. She is now in a place with no pain and finally healed...

I have gone through many things before before a contest(6 weeks out this past Sat) in 2004 I had all 4 wisdom teeth cutout at 6 weeks out. In 2005 I had a vasectomy at 8 weeks out. Took 06 off to let my upper body catch up with my overpowering lower.

This year I have all the strengh and motivation I need. I am going to WIN my class this year for my mother. Every ounce of training and pain I will just think of mom and destroy the weights...if I pass out or puke then oh well, mom handled tons more...

Mom this one is for you, your son will win it this year 2nd place is NOT AN OPTION!!

Thank you guys....

We lost mom's sister ( my aunt) in 1990 to the same disease. My grandmother ( mom and aunt's mom) in 2004 was a 30+ yr cancer survivor. I really think they will all be looking down and helping me and my 3 brothers ( 1 compete's as well) through times of need and pain. For those wondering the show...

2007 NPC Battle of the River in Chattanooga

I will be prolly Jr. Lighweight Cutoff(164.25) as I weigh 177.8 with BF% at 6.8 right now. It is going to be close but If not I will do the Middle's, does not matter the motivation and drive are DEEP now.

So about your loss, losing parents is one of lifes inevetable things that we go through. I pray that none of us here have to deal with losing a child.

I wish you the best in your competetion, show no mercy and do it for your moms.

Hey NPClight so sorry to hear of your loss. It is these things in life and death that test us. It always happens at the worst possible time in your life but you know what, it is the strong that survive and overcome adversity. Your mother will be proud of you. She will now be your strength and new motivation. Let her guide you and feed you the power to succeed. Go your hardest and do your best, it is all you can do. Stay positive and go get your trophy!!
