Pre work out concoction

I have been using 2g L-tyrosine and about 20g glutamine pre work out to help with focus and drive. That makes me zoned but I still could use a little more energy.

I can't do stimulants.:(

My question is: is that enough or should I add something else pre work out to help with concentration/focus/drive?

Hey bro,

I know that Palumbo is not to keen on oral glutamine. He actually says it has no effect and that taking a high quality whey protein would work alot better.
Maybe some of the guys will respond about that..

But what I would do is eat a quality complex carb an hour or so before you workout, and maybe have some waxy maize 15 minutes before if you are still feeling sluggish. The complex carb will help sustain your energy and waxy maized will give you a quick burst it you need it.

I like to drink some strong coffee prior to workout.
 
I like Dorian Yates NOX-PUMP or NO-XPLODE. But they do have caffine in them.
 
I use:

I combine about 3g each of Arginine Ethyl Ester, Creatine Gluconate, and Citrulline Malate in come cranberry crystal light powder and water and it tastes great and give me stim free energy and pumps
 
acetyl l carnitine gets my vote as one of the best preworkout supplements....bump on the citrulline malate as well
 
Universal Animal Pump ... Love it!!
 
I take 10 grams creatine ethyl ester 30 minutes prior then take Universal Animal Pump when I get to the gym .
