Pregnancy question

Hey guys - wife's been off the pill for about a year. We'd like to have a kid. I'm 36, she's 35. I haven't seriously cycled in a couple years. But I occassionally do an amp of test a week when I really start shrinking.

I've used a course of nolva (clomid bums me out) but I'm gonna try some hcg. I figure I'll try the hcg, then if no results I'll jerk into a cup and see what the deal is.

Have you guys got any advice on the hcg shot? Ie - for this purpose, how much should I use and when?

Any additional info would be helpful also.

Assuming you have health insurance, I'd have you and your wife checked. Could be your wife with the prob. a lot of factors may be involved.

First thing I would recommend is a sperm test for you. They can check your count and make sure they are swimming around good and proper.
The nolva is a good choice according to W Llewwyn (sp?). If you are going to use hcg, then I think they say 1500ius twice a week is good.
When using the hcg nolva is a must! You can very easily develop gyno if hcg is taken by itself. I've seen it happen.

only reason I haven't taken the sperm test is because if I can shoot them up with hcg (even prior to the sperm test) then I won't even have to bother with discussions of my infertility. I figure if I can do that then I'd just replicate the protocol whenever she is fertile and be done with this matter so I can get back on some test, fina, and dbol.

So, I'll do the hcg as per that recommendation and stay on the nolva. I know the wife is fertile cause I have a stepson. I think it took a troupe of Chip N Dale dancers to get that done though.

The only reason I say about the sperm test is to check to make sure the sperm aren't "disabled".
I have read studies that show that total sperm count may be fine, but when they looked at the "design" of the sperms tail section, it was too short or bent up to make it swim properly.
Just some info to throw at you if the hcg and nolva doesn't seem to be doing the trick.
