PREGNENOLONE and DHEA instead of HCG?

There is definitely a difference in the way I feel when I run out of pregnenolone or dhea. There is a reason that some of the big names in HRT insist that their patients take those. I won't let myself run out. The pregnenolone gave me a sense of well-being.

HCG will stimulate the P450 pathway which the other would not happen with the others as far as I know.

Plus pregnenolone and DHEA won't keep your testicles from atrophy like HCG does - if one cares about such things...

Agreed...the big names in HRT do suggest DHEA and Preg as needed (back filling the pathways)...checking with blood tests first.

Personally I do take HCG, and reduced my DHEA dose from 50 twice a day to 50 once a day when I started back on HCG in order to lower a potential source of estrogen boosting... with preg I somewhat use it as needed as anti-anxiety in low doses (50mg time release tabs).

25mg/day of DHEA puts me at the bottom of range . Twice a day pits me just over the top. So I take it in the morning then every other day with my evening supps.
