Preworkout meal

Honestly, your best bet is to eat what digests well for you. some people do well with oats, some with cream of rice with something fiberous like berries or some do cream of rice with something like pb or whole eggs. my coach has me eating close to 1000 carbs a day of all "clean" food so through trial and error, had to find what worked well. for me it was high fiber carbs and low fats and all whole food minus pre intra and post workout.

1000 carbs a day is getting up there man. I assume you body build or classic. Physique? I would gain way to much fat if I ate 1000 carbs, even if they were clean lol

So I started working out on a empty stomach (I drink dextrose with EAA during my workout).
My workouts are usually great BUT problem is that I have energy to workout for about 1h at best.

So my question is how bad is it working out first thing in the morning on a empty stomach?

Man I'm constantly starving. I do have eaa's in with my hbcd, glutamine, pink salt etc

Best for me is baby rice cereal, some PB and a scoop of isolate 45mins prior to training

Oats instead of rice cereal works alright too

I agree with the food. I use powders twice a day right now. After workouts and before bed to make a smoothie. Volume definitely helps when your constantly hungry

What do you eat PWO?



I get really tired when I eat I don't know if it's the carbs or something else.



Pwo = is post work out
Pre work out on the weekends is a high quality protein blend of egg whites, casein and whey iso with s high quality carb powder.

Another option instead of car powder is easily digested fruit or berries. I like papaya.

Third option is something like John meadows protein bar with same protein blend to wash it down.

Perhaps 100g of oats is too much for you. How about trying 50 or 30g instead. Until you aren’t feeling sleepy. Blend with your protein in a blender. Consume with a couple tea spoons of essential fats like evoo or macadamia oil or I use fish oil

I'll try that.
I've tried cream of rice and different carb sources. Trained on empty stomach today and I was tired. Brainfog and all that shit.

Maybe there is something else that's wrong. I even took some caffeine. Maybe just need to sleep more.
