I am a proud code monkey (with an undergrad in software engineering and a engineering Ph.D.; yes I am a nerd). I'm about 6'3 and oscillate around 300 lbs with maybe 15-20% body fat.

I buy my clothes through DXL and generally manage to look mostly professional (so long as I am wearing a heavy cotton T-shirt underneath the long sleeve shirt). But I still show more bulk off at work than I would like to and I'd also like to put on some more solid mass.

Just wondering if anyone out there has a better solution to this problem? :)

How are you supposed to conceal bulk?

1.) wear a tent

2.) use your engineering skills to make a cloaking device.

Or you can face it, bodybuilders are supposed to be naked.

You could also tap some nerd skills and just wear a Batman Outfit with a large cape. Just do the thing where he cloaks himself in the cape. It always works.

Wear a burqa.

Lol, I want to see the pictures. It must be very cool.

Why do you need to hide your size at work...Is it a personal preference for you,I'm just wondering...

As far as wanting to be more cut that's very understandable, diet, cardio and training bro as always...

It's tough these days because men's fashionable clothing is so tight its like painted on.

I don't mind having my casual clothes tight,I'm muscular and I light to show it off I'm proud of what I succeeded in training...

I'm not anywhere near your size, but its hard for me to find dress clothes. I have to get everything tailored.

My suit coat size is a 46, but my waist is a 32. My neck is 17 1/2" - 18" and my arm length is 34. Everything I buy looks baggy, my legs are too big for the pants, etc. So what I do is buy stuff that doesn't really fit but is the easier to tailor. A 46 suit coat that can be cut in, pants that are too long so they end up fitting my legs that can be hemmed, and slim fit shirts that aren't really slim fit because they still look like trash bags- I have those tailored as well.

You're going to have to find someone to tailor the clothes for you man.

Agreed, anything even close to off the rack and you look like a fatty wearing a tent.

I can't imagine a suit, blazers are so much easier to match contrasting sizes.

Same here ive always have the same problem with dress shirts and hate it. Every time I need to wear a shirt and tie I look horrible. They fit my back and chest, but the waist looks like a trash bag. No matter how much I fold them on the sides, they still come out. Everything is made for fucking short and/or obese people in this world.

Have a tailor fit the dress shirt to you. I've had them cut the sides to fit my size.

I wear a suit and tie to work every day and I look like shit when I take the suit coat off. Same thing as you- my chest and back fit nicely, but my waist is all baggy even if I buy slim fits.

I buy off the big and tall rack and bring it to the local tailor. Usually some little Chinese or Korean woman
