Recently I came across a discussion that PM is just so different that they no longer even come here (not even "lurking"). There has also been the fair share of a few complaints on threads here as well.
There is always the "honeymoon" period when things are new and exciting, etc. and then the real work comes and some of the "excitement" might wane... but that is when the true test of character comes out.
Also, it's typical to just deal with situations as they come but never really try to have any for-sight as to the trajectory of how the "relationship" will end up based on it's current path. This can be very dangerous.
So I ask-
1) Where was PM before?
2) Where is it now?
3) Where do you think it is heading?
1) What made it that way before?
2) What do you think makes it the way it is now?
3) What can be done to achieve a favorable future?
I know I have an average amount of post's, but this is the first board I joined and pretty much the only one I post on. It is my first home. I appreciate all that I have learned and feel guilty sometimes for not making more time to share what little insight/experience/knowledge I have.
So, with MUCH respect, I would love to hear from some of the vets, mods, etc. Those who have been here for awhile who may be able to offer a better "big picture" of things.
