In Germany we have a very successful coach saying the same thing and just from observation, it seems to be true. If you meet a certain minimum threshold of volume/ frequency/ intensity and actually target the right muscle, it doesn’t matter what you do and you can really only fuck it up by doing too much from this point on.
There are two younger guys with good potential I have been following for some time now with comparable physiques and one of them basically trains four times as much as the other one and they are just developing at the same rate.
