Prostate cancer and TRT

Anyone have info or first hand experience with a prostate cancer survivor 67 using TRT. My father has serious signs of low test doc refuses to scribe but I have heard that is old school thinking. Serious appreciate any feedback.

My father had Prostate Cancer 6 years ago this Oct. He is now 70 years old and has low test, mid 130's I believe it was. He contacted the head of the Oncology department at Loma Linda here in Socal and they told him he needed to wait till he hit the 5 year mark before starting TRT.

I have no first hand experience on the situation but have heard from MD`s that TRT increases risk of prostate cancer. Personally I think its bullshit! To have a healthy normal level of test, say 900, is going to cause cancer? Google how many diseases that are linked to LOW T in men. If I gonna get sick or cancer, I`d rather be a man with a good test level till the end, than turn into my mother at 70 y/o with a limp noodle and no muscle tone.

My Dad's 75, been training 3-4x a week for decades and got on TRT (androgel) about 3 years ago. Seems he absorbed it really well, as he ended up having a Test level over 1800. LOL. I was jealous. Doc adjusted it of course.

This was 2 years after he had surgeries on 6 organs at once and had a 5% chance of living. Well, he did make it, and no problems since.

If you find a dr cool with trt. Estrogen control is the most important thing.
