Prostatitis Anyone?

Curious if anyone deals with this ongoing issue. I’m 52 and about once or twice a year since my mid 40s or so I’ll deal with this. It’s a complicated and difficult issue to deal with. For y’all who know, I don’t have to explain it to you. For others, it’s a dull ache and burn in your taint / perineum. Constant need to piss and burning at the tip of your cock. Painful urination and at discomfort when you cum. I’ve done the common remedies like antibiotics, prostate massage, saw palmetto, Sitting on a donut cushion (which help), “frequent ejaculation (as much as the wife will let me) and epsom soaks. Curious if yall have any remedies which help yall.

Finisteride and cialis made mine go away completely and almost immediately.

Funny thing? If I don’t cum for like 10 days sometimes when I piss it’s almost straight cum..I think the doctor and my wife said it was retroactive ejaculation? Apparently it’s pretty common.

I'm 59 and have delt with some of these symptoms. One time, I had to go to the urgent care because I couldn't urinate. They said I had a UTI and prostatitis, and put me on Cipro which cleared it up. I've been blasting for close to 14 years, and the only relief I've gotten was to finally drop to 150mg/wk of Test only, and things got much better. I've also been running .5mg of Dutasteride twice per week for the last 8 weeks or so, and that has probably helped, too. I've also pissed out a few stones over the last couple of years, and after a CT scan of my bladder, the Urologist told me that I have bladder stones likely due to chronic BPH. I'm having surgery on the 30th to get those stones flushed out. Have you been tracking your PSA?

Back in the early 2000s I had it really bad and it lasted a very long time. I seriously never thought it was going to go away at one point which lead to depression to the point of almost suicidal. Something that was irritating mine was rough, painful bowel movements. That's what set mine off everyday. I using Metamucil everyday and that helped me dramatically. Over time it finally went away. I know your frustration, I tried everything. I wish I had a magical answer for u but I don't. Make sure your drinking alot of water too. The more I urinated, the better I felt.
