id say it should be somewhat based on the other ratios of your macronutrients in your diet. If you are generally going low carb, and higher fat, then i would say bump your protein up higher than usual, but if you have a decent amount of carbs present, then your protein doesnt need to be as high. If you cycle carbs, i would say cycle the protein like this with the carbs as well.
I would say dont go overboard on the protein though, as excess calories are excess calories. I personally think that too much protein wont make you 'fat' unlike too much carbs/fat, but eating excess amounts can hold you back a bit in terms of your goals. Like its discussed in the other thread about protein intake and amounts, I think timing and quality of your protein intake/sources is just as important as how much you consume.
