My friends mom was telling me that her doctor mentioned that she could get those rtd premier protein shakes or other shakes with food stamps. If it says nutrition facts it's eligible but if it says suppleness facts it's not.

im out here in new mexico...poor state...I live in a really poor area.

theres a couple of local beef jerky stores here...sellin a pound of jerky for like $30...and they fucking take food stamps.

Brother, At least here where I live, NO. You CAN NOT purchase the premier or muscle milk rtd's on the snap benefits card from walmart or sam's. It won't ring up. Trust me. And by saying it won't ring up, I mean you will have to pay cash for it. I was down on my luck for a few months and had to apply for assistance. So I thought, Hey, let's see if this will work. it won't.

I haven't tried the great value brand of shakes to see if that would work, but that may be what your DR is referring to....

Not all food products can be paid for with the snap benefits card. (Where I live)

Hot food = NO
Fresh fruit trays = NO

Soda's and all that shit = yes

And to me, that is whats sad about it. Oh well, You just gotta learn how to play the game....
