Pumps!

Does anyone know why some people can get a super good pump when they lift and some can't get a pump at all?( No matter what they do or take.) I start to see a pump within my 2nd warm up with most excerises! Does a pump even matter? Would someone who can achieve a good pump easily use that to their advantage? focus on volume, more frequently?
 
People ask me the same.

My arms used to be a lot bigger than what they are now, especially when I was on cycle. So I probably stretched out the muscle a bit allowing more blood to pump through my bicep.

Aren't pumps a buildup of lactic acid, which necessarily isn't a good thing?
 
I think its mostly the dilation of the blood vessels in that muscle and the pump results from the increase in blood volume in the muscle. I believe that nitrous oxide will increase this. I remember using that once supplement endorsed by Ronnie Coleman, cant remember the name, and it seemed to work well. I dont think its really an indicator of a more effective workout, so dont go by how good your pump is. I always found that higher rep workouts produce a better pump, but you wouldnt say that higher reps build more strength and muscle would you? It certainly feels good though eh? Take something like dianabol and the pumps are so wicked that youll want to cry sometimes. The lower back is especially effected.

The above two are spot on. Muscle pumps are great for potential growth. I have tried many things but my own little stack works best. Make sure your fully hydrated and have had some carbs before your workout. Added to that about 3-5g of arginine and about 60-90mg Pycnogenol. And of course intense training.
 
to strong pumps

i get so strong pumps they are not fun anymore when i do bi curls no matter how much i lift or how many reps i get extreme pumps not just in the bi but all over the body. btw im on (100 mg d bolls) :D
 
My biggest pumps happen when..........

I take the folowing Pre-Workout
30-40grams of Waxymaize
20-30mg of Dbol
1 scoop of NO shot gun.
 
Oh yeah I forgot to mention dbol... those pumps can be insane. Adrol for me too... can barely walk the gym cos my calves feel like they are gonna pop. But if your not on anything my previous suggestion works wonders too.
 
I believe it has something to do with insulin sensitivity. I'm a insulin dependant diabetic. When my sensitivity is high, pumps are crazy. When I"m experiencing resistance, pumps are tough to come by.
