Pwo Burger Meal

for the slow kids....

post work out your body is primed and ready to shuttle correct nutrients where they need to be.

if one was going to eat a "bad" meal post work out would be a great time to do it, post work out muscle is more insulin sensitive, fat is less, your body will try and shuttle protein and carbs and is less likely to store the fat.

I know if I eat something like that post work out im running to the bathroom right after, anything not easily digested and used is gotten rid of asap, fats and fiber go right out.

post or post post work out is a great time for cheat meals.

although it may fuck up your eating after...

I like to keep cheats to the last meal of the day for that reason.

totally agree, ESP for lightning metabolism guys.... in the plaza that my main gym is in there is a 5guys burger joint... an asian all u can eat buffet w a sushi bar and hibachi grill for steaks chicken and shrimp..buffet is $11 and me and my boys go thru 3-4 full plates, can't beat it anywhere.... also a muslcemaker grill but who wants clean food LOL ;)

Must be LA fitness. Did you meet that bitch ass Stefan...the GM a while back? I almost caved his face in a couple years back.

I love that plaza...stopped through on my way to Miami Lakes in late 2013 on the way to a friends NPC show (Aikman56). I really wanted to go to Muscle Maker Grille since I hadn't been before...but was impressed with the other food choices there.

yes, LA fit... I've never really talked to any of the people that work their... i goto 3 different ones around here but the deerfield one i been at the longest... probably close to a decade...

yaaaaa, i dont understand how these places arent more popular around the country... there was no fast food grilled chicken and sides anywhere in Vancouver, i was going crazy....
 
I don't know if it's fair to assume "all cheeseburgers are created equal'. Making a cheeseburger at home with a 93% patty, legit cheese, fresh ingredients is a far cry from riding through McDonald's or Burger King.

Hell, I think even a restaurant burger from Chili's or even high end fast food like In'N'Out is a far cry from a mega chain fast food with bottom of the barrel ingredients and cooking techniques.

I personally don't buy that a cheeseburger with lean meat and fresh ingredients is all that bad.

Ah interpreting BS research. The full article cost $25 so we can not see who actually funded the research. RED FLAG. The entire study consisted of 2 workouts on one day, performed twice, 1 week apart. How many dots does that make on a graph or scatter plot? TWO... RED FLAG! 90 minutes om treadmill will not fully deplete glycogen stores either.

This is great, Nor did the athletes feel any sicker after eating junk food and exercising than they did on the other diet. ... So they are telling me that eating 1 shitty meal in a week did not completely screw up there lab work?? WOW. Are these "elite athletes" used to eating that kind of crap food? That might explain why they did not feel sicker than eating clean food. For most of us clean eaters, mcdonald`s would mean needing a nap and diarrhea. Typical fake news, agenda "research".

I mean who really gives a shit if you eat a cheeseburger once in a while? Are you competing? And maybe even still then. I mean who gives a fuck, really? I do and try to go for 'better' stuff like Five Guys. Fresh ingredients, all the way down to the potatoes they bring in. Kill a double bacon cheeseburger with jalapeños, mushrooms and onions and a large Cajun fry. Maybe one of those little ass overpriced milkshakes if I don't give a shit about money. I think they grossly underestimate the calories on their stuff, though. Calories for what I listed has it all, including fries, about 3000 cals. I think it's more in the 5000 range.

Hamburgers can be extremely healthy. Get some venison or buy a cow from a local farmer who you get to know. Figure out what they are feeding that fucker. For members that are farmers or know about this. What are the grass-fed cows eating in the winter. I'm sure parts of the country during winter make it hard for them to graze.

It was just a statement lol.

Lots of "bodybuilders" love to brag about their Double Double Animal Style w/Fries cheat meals. They think it's awesome and cool. I feel bad for them.
